About Our Practice
Since inauguration, the Trump Administration has attempted to cripple the federal government through purges of the federal workforce and other unlawful tactics. The federal civil service, because of its merit-based principles and commitment to the rule of law, is a pillar of our system of self-government. It is also the nation’s largest workforce, made up of real people facing impossible choices. Our firm, the Civil Service Law Center, aims to litigate on behalf of federal workers and members of the public who have been harmed by the Administration’s unfair and unlawful attacks on the civil service.
Our practice at the Civil Service Law Center is guided by three principles:
Commitment. We are committed, first and foremost, to our clients and resolving the legal challenges they face. We are also committed more broadly to the rule of law, democracy, and transparent government.
Creativity. We believe that the best legal arguments may be ones that haven’t been made yet. We are always looking for new and creative approaches to vindicate our clients’ rights.
Courage. The Trump Administration’s recent targeting of law firms threatens access to justice for everyone. We will continue to press ahead to challenge unlawful government action.
